In cases of dispute, we are one of the only totally independent jewelry appraisal laboratory in the Denver area. We do not buy, sell or become involved in transactions. We can provide the documentation you need. As an independent we are not influenced by where the purchase was made. You can be assured the information you get is reliable and unbiased.
As members of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers we adhere to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and conform the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. The USPAP standards are ethical guidelines set forth by a Federal agency designed to regulate real property appraisers. As personal property appraisers, we adhere to these guidelines voluntarily.

An appraisal of decorative personal property items is similar to a jewelry appraisal, in that it is a professional service. The appraiser charges for their services.
The fee for appraising the Decorative Personal Property items is:
In our office $ 150.00 per hour, one hour minimum
At your premise $ 225.00 per hour, one hour minimum
You can expect about 30 minutes for an in-home assessment, then 30 minutes per item for most appraisals. Items will be documented during our visit/examination then time will be spent in the office doing appropriate research and document preparation.
As with any appraisal, the assignment is purpose specific. If you want an insurance replacement appraisal or an estate tax appraisal or a liquidation appraisal, each appraisal is unique and charged separately.
